• The facility is not to be confused with the Dentdoctor franchise as it not only specializes in the removal of dents but is also a SAMBRA major repairer with a host of manufacturer approvals.
• The business is set up as two facilities, namely the main shop and the speed shop. The main shop covering 3000 square meters is where all the major repairs are carried out. The speed shop covering 1200 square meters is where all the dent removals and repairs under R15 000 are carried out.
• Dent Doctor Randburg/Sandton operates the original manufacturer waterborne paint system providing unparalleled levels of paint quality which also removes dangerous toxins from the surroundings and ensures that environmental standards are recognized and maintained.
• We also have a state of the art vacuum system which eliminates dust with infrared lighting for efficient curing of primer.
• We make use of manufacturer approver Spies Hecker paint which is electronically mixed.
• Every colour is meticulously matched to each vehicle through an intricate computerized selection and mixing system.
• The under-floor extraction ensures a dust-free environment and eradicates overspray.
• Dent Doctor Randburg/Sandton has the capacity to repair 280 – 300 vehicles per month.

Workshop

• Stripping and Assembling - The vehicle is prepared for repair and panel beating through the removal of damaged parts.
• Panel Repair Centre - A section of the repair facility has been dedicated to panel beating. This area of the business has been set up to use Car-o- Liner’s latest rack bench system, coupled with a computerized measuring system to handle major structural repairs. In addition, three of the latest Car-o-Liner Speed Bench systems have been installed to handle medium-sized work efficiently.
• Part Preparation Centre - The shop has six dry flatting preparation bays and infrared. Curing system to ensure that the panels are prepared for painting in the most technologically up to date methods.
• Painting - Paintwork is carried out in one of two Aer-o-cure dust-free down draught spray booths and curing ovens. This department has 3 qualified paint technicians.
• Paint Finishing - Once the vehicle has been repaired and painted, the vehicle returns to the strip and assembly section for final assembly, polishing, valet, and inspection.
• Quality Control - A dedicated Quality Control Manager inspects each stage of the Repair culminating in the final inspection.
