About Us

Forsman Panelbeaters was founded in 1992 although the Close Corporation was only registered in January 1996.

We acquired a premises and constructed offices and a workshop to meet our specific requirements which is located at 2 Elsenbrook Street, Potch Industria, Potchefstroom. 

Since the founding of Forsman Panelbeaters, we have been constantly growing and have become  a well known name in the auto body repair industry, associated with quality and friendliness.

Forsman Panelbeaters will maintain a competitive advantage through quality control. We will continually work to improve the value of our offerings, through improving service quality, superior workmanship and  friendliness, as a basis for maintaining and growing our customer base as our market matures and becomes increasingly competitive.

We strive to offer each customer excellent service and convenience through personal attention, which is why Forsman Panelbeaters is not only a well known name in Potchefstroom, but in the greater North-West area as well.

Wentzel is the owner and member of Forsman Panelbeaters, which he has built into a very profitable and reputable business over the years Forsman Panelbeaters currently employ approximately 32 people, who are dedicated to their work and the quality thereof. With experienced staff who have years of experience in the auto body repair industry, our service and quality craftsmanship makes us stand out above our competitors











The first step in the SMART Repair process is a very thorough A-Z manual and photographic check-in of your vehicle. For complete peace of mind, we remove all valuables and loose articles inside your vehicle for safekeeping in our secure storage room.


All painted panels are polished after final assembling to ensure the original factory paint finish.


At this stage all damaged panels are removed from the vehicle and our highly skilled and qualified team commences with the panel repair work using the latest top-of-the-line technology and equipment.


After polishing is completed, our quick & efficient wash bay cleans & vacuums your vehicle.


Meticulous paint preparation is done on our state-of-the-art drive through preparation bay using high tech vacuum systems to eliminate dust and the latest infrared lighting to efficiently cure primer. Once we have washed & masked your vehicle, expert personnel carefully match each colour to each vehicle through a sophisticated computerised selection and mixing system. Forsman uses a waterborne paint system that combines easy application and safe use to produce excellent results and ensures the removal of dangerous toxins from the environment.


The final step in the SMART repair process is our quality control. A dedicated quality controller will put your vehicle through a final check to ensure the repairs was done meeting the strict repair standards set by motor manufacturers. Once our quality controller is completely satisfied with all repairs, polish and cleaning the client is contacted for collection.


Our highly skilled and qualified technicians ensure attention to every detail as repaired panels and parts are carefully re-fitted to your vehicle. Any remaining mechanical work and wheel alignment which may be required is also completed at this stage. All wheel alignment is done in-house on our state-of-the-art laser wheel alignment machine.
